Balthier has a raccoon-ish personality considering his *job* preference as a thief, but he likes to think of himself as a HONORABLE thief. He plunders for both treasures and fun, not one to pass up on a oppunrity of good looking women and great tasting wine. Balthier lives the semi-sinful life, being an adventurer at heart and a all around ladies' man! Despite having such a laid-back view on life, Balthier has a certain aspect of sincerity about him that makes it easy for those who doubt him to trust him. He is geniune and wouldn't hurt anyone just for a selfish cause. That is something that the "leading man" must not do! History: Born Ffamran Mid Bunansa, Balthier dropped his family name once he began his life anew as a daring sky pirate! Balthier left his homeland of Archades to get away from his own father, the Draklor Labratories own Dr. Cidolfus Demen Bunansa, when his father's maddness begame to take effect. Never liking the appeal of becoming a Judge for the Archadian Court, Balthier took off with an experimental fighter ship originally called "YPA-G847" that he renamed "The Strahl". Balthier lived his life freely by his own accord, his only company being his ship and his dear viera accomplice, Fran. It wasn't until one day, that a treasure he seeked for within the lands of Dalmasca; ended up changing the course of his life forever...
